Welcome to Reedsburg

A City in Motion

Reedsburg’s origins are tied to the early 19th century, when settlers began laying the foundation for a city in motion.  With close proximity to the Mid-Continental Railroad, which transported goods and people in and out of the township, industries including manufacturing and agriculture began to take form. It’s this strong, diverse industrial base that serves as the engine that drives Reedsburg.

In 1928, the town became equipped with the Reedsburg Municipal Airport, a public- and military-use hub. Today, the airport operates more than 14,000 flights annually.
